Welcome to the
Southern Umpires Association

From humble beginnings in 1959 the Southern Umpires Association has become widely regarded as the largest and most professional umpiring body servicing grass roots football.

The SUA supplies Field, Boundary and Goal Umpires to many competitions covering the Mornington Peninsula through to the Casey - Cardinia region each weekend during the season.

The SUA prides itself on providing excellent facilities for our Members, with our own SUA Headquarters based at Kananook Oval in Seaford and Satellite Coaching and Administration Venues based at Fountain Gate in the City of Casey and Tootgarook in the Mornington Peninsula Shire.

Our Coaching Panel represents a wealth of experience at AFL, VFL and Local levels guaranteeing thorough and up-to-date coaching methods and instruction is provided to all umpires in each category.

Being a member of the SUA is more than just officiating the footy, a fantastic social environment exists with functions conducted throughout the year providing enjoyment for umpires and their families.

Many benefits flow from being a member of the SUA:
